Eiffel Tower
Built for the 1889 International Exhibition, Paris, the centenary celebration of the French Revolution. On the Av. Gustave Eiffel, by the river Seine, at 300 metres (320.75m including antenna), and 7000 tons, it was the world's tallest building until 1930.
