Peter Bardell LRPS

A member of the Royal Photographic Society.

Based in Birmingham (UK), my main areas of work are fine art and travel photography.

My favourite subjects being fine art, landscape, travel and street photography both in Britain and abroad. My favourite location is Paris, France, an amazing and fascinating city which I have visited many times and continue to document.

Photographically my biggest influences are Henri Cartier Bresson, Andre Kertesz, Arnold Newman, Annie Liebowitz, Lee Miller and Edward Weston. Although I draw inspiration from art, architecture and my environment.

My photographic qualifications include a licentiateship from the Royal Photographic Society and City & Guilds certificates in portrait and Black & White photography.

Although the images on this site were captured digitally, I occasionaly use film. A selection of my monochrome film work can be viewed on The Royal Photographic Society's website, on the members portfolio section. This can be accessed through the 'Links' section.

And for those that may be interested, I currently use Nikon cameras, lenses and software and Apple computers.
